Digital Strategist

CRI is looking for an experienced digital strategist to help grow our business and our clients’ business. You will lead the account strategy for multiple clients and be the lead strategic contact for our clients and internal teams. You will be responsible for client satisfaction and building and nurturing the client relationship.

You will provide clear and consistent communication and interpretation of CRI’s value as it applies to the clients’ marketing strategy. You will partner with internal teams and the day-to-day account manager to ensure client strategies are understood and built into CRI’s plans. You will focus on achieving measurable and trackable results for clients.

Responsibilities:
– Translate client business goals into effective, creative advertising strategies
– Provide a level of oversight and assistance to day-to-day account manager where possible on key deliverables
– Lead the internal team, partnering with day-to-day account manager when possible, to ensure client needs are met
– Ensure clients’ business goals are met
– Ensure CRI provides adequate and actionable insight for the client
– Create and own account strategy brief with client input, and communicate brief content to internal CRI or external teams where necessary
– Produce Quarterly Business Reviews and year-end recaps and strategic recommendations with extended team
– Lead the Account Strategy Reviews with the entire internal team
– Actively research and deliver key trends and strategic information to clients
– Identify areas of the account for CRI to add value
– Assist day-to-day account manager where applicable in managing client expectations and developing effective processes for the account
– Lead creation of key client deliverables including strategies and presentations
– Identify opportunities for creating successes and wins, highlight and promote them to client
– Depending on the client, attend and lead calls (except for those related to tactical discussions), take notes, share with the day-to-day account manager and internal teams
– Attend and lead all in-person client meetings
– Set prioritization and goals for the internal CRI client team and help them strive to achieve those goals
– Set 3, 6, 12, 24-month roadmap for client engagement
– Provide insight into the management of the account, partner with Operations to improve efficiency and productivity where possible
– Identify opportunities for internal collaboration and knowledge sharing across accounts
– Own the final quality control for all client-facing deliverables
– Ensure schedules and plans are in place and on target
– Confirm budgets where appropriate
– Contribute to planning sessions and process improvements
– Provide thought leadership on CRI blog, identify case studies, and drive innovation at CRI and with clients

Required Experience:
• 6+ years’ experience at a marketing or advertising agency
• Experience managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously
• Experience creating digital and marketing strategies
• Marketing Communications experience preferred.
• Experience creating, managing, and executing cross-channel marketing campaigns to drive business results
